Kaoru is a huge fave of mine, partly because she seems like a girl that might actually exist or have existed. These days, most anime women are measured by their cup size (so to speak) or by their sugar-overdose levels of moe.
Kaoru, on the other hand, can be pretty, dainty, and elegant one moment, then willing to use violence to chastise the errors of the men in her world the next. Wonder where I've seen that before? |
