Blame the thesaurus for "mettlesome," I needed help to continue the one-word captions for the Duo cels. Doesn't it look like Duo's asking "What you got, boy?"
In fact he and Heero are pretending to be high school students (like practically all anime heroes) while planning to hop in their mechas and blow up a military installation. That's almost the same as shooting hoops, right? |
