Inuyasha

Inuyasha has become a great favorite of mine. It combines a lot of familiar anime elements (lecherous monk, girl traveling magically to alternate reality, bickering guy and girl on quest) in new and surprisingly imaginative ways. The villains -- especially Naraku -- are terrific.
