I was going to write something snarky about mimes trapped in glass boxes but I just couldn't do it. I like Ashitaka too much.
If you're interested in animation art take a good look at this cel. Even if you haven't seen the movie you can almost feel Ashitaka straining to push the door open while he's wounded and carrying a heavy burden. There are lots of talented artists and studios working in animation but I feel that few if any can equal Studio Ghibli. |
