When I first saw this cel on Anime Taro, it took me the longest time to figure out why it struck me as so different from other anime cels. Can you pick out the difference? He's got actual lips!
Admittedly they're flesh-colored, which is kind of odd, but it's quite rare for anime characters to have lips. I guess adding lips makes a lot of extra work for the animators. |
